I am a non drinker. People may assume it is because I am a Baptist, but that isn't it. I don't believe sipping wine (or whatever) is a sin. I don't drink because there are a heck of a lot of alcoholics in my family and I am not taking any chances.
Penguino- It is good to hear that you were a nondrinker from birth.

im only 13, things might change, but i am a fretty firm hindu,, quite a orthodox hindu in that sense too.

I haven't really drank anything much since I got pregnant with my first. I would occassionally have a margarita with dinner, but now it's a just a glass or two of champagne for New Years and that's it! Can't justify the calories and I'm always the designated driver for my lush husband
