Does anyone want to share a recipie? I am interested in learning new things.
I got this from a friend: This is also fun to make with the kids Hamburger Dogs You will need hotdogs, ground beef (1 lb), your favorite cheese, seasonings and hoggie rolls seasonings: salt, pepper and worchesteshire sauce season the ground beef and seperate into 4-6 take hot dog and cut in middle flatten ground beef and place hotdog in middle place cheese on hotdog roll ground beef to cover hot dog Place in grill or in over over: 350 degreese until meat is done grill...grill like a burger place in hoggie roll or large hotdog bun with trimmings you like. You can also estimate how large you would like your hamburger dogs. If you would like them to be bigger, just add more meat. Happy cooking! |

I'm not one for recipies, but I've learned a few things that I include in my cooking.
Substitute lime for lemon to spark the flavor of any dish calling for lemon. Add orange marmalade to meatloaf. Add lime or lemon to anything with tomato sauce. Add ground clove to baked beans. Fine chop green salad olives and add to cream cheese for a different party dip. Use the above to suit taste. Bob |

Maybe you can help me Mrs C. I need to learn how to cook as Kentucky and Macdonalds grow weary over time.

Lipton Vegetable Mix. On one of the packages, there is a recipie for Pasta Primavera. All you will need is Milk, Butter and your favorite pasta. You can even add Chicken breast. Easy way to cook chicken, grill. No Mess. If you don't know how to make pasta, here is how to make it. You will need 8 oz. pasta for one package of the Lipton Vegetable mix. You will need a medium size pot and fill pot 3/4 with water, (not 3/4 cup) a teaspoon oil, and a pinch of salt (are you going to ask me what a pinch is?). Boil. You do know what boil is, right?...lol It's when the water is bubbling. Place the pasta in the boiling water and stir pasta once in a while so that the pasta don't stick together. Depending on the pasta, it will either take no time at all to cook or about 15 minutes. Quickest pasta to cook is Angel hair pasta. You can determine when pasta is done by tasting one. Don't do what I do where I throw a piece of pasta on the wall to see if it will stick...lol. When it's done, drain. Prepare the sauce as directed on the package of the Lipton Vegetable. After pasta and sauce are done, stir together...and Wala!! You can even add chicken or shrimp to your creation. You know...they have the already cooked shrimp that you can add. Have you ever thought about watching the food network? Watch Rachel Ray...she does the 30 minute meals...lmao Hope I have helped in your KFC and McDonald Dilema ![]() |

This is one of my favorite meals, and there is really nothing to it, anyone can make this one. Only one pot to clean.!!
Take one big pot fill it with water and bring to a rolling boil. Dump in any kind of pasta that you feel like having, add salt if you like, stirring to separate the pasta. Boil pasta for about six minutes then add the following; a portion of a bag of frozen mixed vegetables, I prefer broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Then, if you like shrimp, now is the time to put them in. If you dont like shrimp you could add some leftover cooked chicken, at the last moment, if it is cooked it will only take a moment or two to warm it through. Total cooking time should be about twelve minutes once you have put the pasta in, but it really depends how al dente (hard or soft) you like your pasta. Now drain the water, shake off the excess and put in a big bowl. If you are a butter freak like me, toss it in! If you prefer, put in some grated cheese and some fresh parsley. Now you can have this dinner hot or save it and eat it cold like a salad, adding mayonaise if you like. Don't forget the garlic, if you like garlic, and baby I like garlic ! Put it in when you put the pasta in the water to boil. You could also adapt it this way, boil the pasta for the time indicated on the box, usually 10 to 13 minutes, drain when cooked and put in a bowl on the side. In the same pot you cooked the pasta, put a can of white clam sauce, taste it to see if it needs doctoring up. I always put in some chopped garlic, black pepper and fresh parsley. Heat this through, then toss the pasta in the pot and mix with the clam sauce. You can add vegetables to this one also if you like. For the most part, cans of white clam sauce have more sauce then clams. So you might want to pick up an extra can of clams or better yet, fresh ones. It is up to you how much you like clams. Darn it I'm getting hungry now! Hope you enjoy. Bon appetite! I'm already in the cupboard looking for pasta. Joyfully, Martha
