This is so yummy esp. in the summer. I made them for my girls when they didn't want to eat meat but needed a quick meal.
Bagels Cream Cheese Alfalfa Sprouts Tomatoes Seasoned Salt I like onion bagels or any spicy bagels for this, but the plain ones are just fine. Just split the bagels, spread w/ cream cheese, then thin tomato slices, and sprinkle with seasoning salt. Top with fresh alfalfa sprouts, pop in the toaster oven, oven, or broiler for a few minutes until warm.

Arggggghhhhhhhhhh!!! You horrible people you!!!!!!
I need to lose weight; because of my disabilities, most excercise I would have done before is out of the question. So the only way to lose weight (and, as at today, I have lost nearly 3/4 stone!!!!!), is to take in as few calories as possible. Shortly, I will go downstairs for my evening meal..........a Banquet nonetheless; two slices of bread, no spread, and lettuce leaves....... What a feast fit for a king!!

Michel:
Did you know there are some foods like celery with almost zero calories? Also I like dill pickles when I'm in a pickle and can't eat what everyone else is eating. This soup is really filling but has very few calories (also very little nutritional value except fiber) so it's good when you are on a diet. Take a big soup pot and put it on the stove. Take 2 big heads of cabbage, cut into chunks, tomatoes cut into chunks and celery cut into small pieces, cover with water, cover pot bring to boiling and let it simmer all day if you want. You can refrigerate or freeze portions to take out later. You can add seasonings like fresh ground pepper, basil leaf, whatever you prefer because they are calorie-less too. It smells great, and if you like cabbage like I do it tastes wonderful. I used to make this when everyone else was eating dinner and I was trying to starve myself. Helps with the temptations when you are full.

Also michel re: the bagel recipe:
You can substitute a low-calorie high fiber bread, wrap, or tortilla instead of bagel, and low-fat or fat-free cream cheese and it tastes just as yummy.
