Okies. Here they be. I will state flat out that I am not a very good artist, although I do have some primitive skill, lol.
The object of this thread is to have you folks pick what would be the best image for a “title page” to my web-based biography. So, I have made this a poll. Simply choose which one(s) you like the most. If you don’t like any, you are certainly welcome to say so, lol. Again, I have no illusion of be very good and have always wished I was able to capture what I ‘see” much better than I was able to render. Many of these images are done on parchment paper in pencil crayon. *sigh* Others are done on plain bond white paper. Without any further preamble… *Release the hounds* Image one: ![]() Image 2: ![]() DOH! (Dang image limitations)

First, I have ZERO artistic aptitude, so I'm impressed by the talent of the artist and courage to share work with others.
![]() I voted 4, 5, & 10 just because they look neat. I wish I knew the art terms to explain why. ![]()

I love "Feet On a Leaf". Its something I could picture hanging in my home.

I love "Lotus for brains" and "Hail, the jewel in the Lotus"! The shading on both is exquisite! Can we submit artwork for the cause? (And, if so, should it be variations on your artwork, or something different?)

I picked #10 as my first choice because (you'll have to forgive my design experience based comments)I like the composition, colors, the lettering running offpage that keeps the image from being stagnant, and the emerging child. To me, it's the most perfect piece to illustrate your biography.
#2 I like this image second best because for some reason I get the feeling that it's you in the tennis shoes watching yourself emerge out of the water with a smile. If that's the wrong interpretation....oh well. haaaa! |
