Men: Do You Wet Shave?

I shave as soon as I get out of the shower. It's the only way I can get a close shave. I always get irritation if I don't because my beard is too much man for my mach 3...maybe I should make the switch to a straight blade.

Yup, once you get the hang of a straight razor, you can do anything with it. They're very handy.

Yeah, I often shave right out of the shower, or at least get a hot wet washcloth on my face for a bit before shaving. It really makes things easier, but I don't know why.

It makes your facial hair softer so that it's easier to cut.

I hate electric shavers, they tend to get all choked with hair and nasty.

I prefer the disposible kind with the swivel head. Though i am still getting the hang of trimming my mustache with it. Sometimes I miss a hair and it curls up/pokes my nose, LoL.

I have to wet shave, electric ones make my neck a nice shade of itchy red. I recently discovered the shaving brush, it really does help lift the hairs away from the skin.

I wanted to get a straight razor, but when I looked into it the maintenance seemed a little extreme, so I stuck with my Mach 3.

I always shave before I shower, while I know most guys do it the other way around. I find showering after shaving helps reduce shaving rash and also seems to heal up any small cuts too.

Shaving with just water and a disposable blade? I didn't think that was possible. I have a hard enough time getting my disposable blades to glide across my face with shaving cream after only a few uses.

The water softens the whiskers enough so that it works. I've only a few times shaved without water altogether, and that wasn't pleasant at all.

I shave only on water and my blade, and when I finish I pour Irish whiskey on my hands and put it on my face.

then I throw a slice of meat into the blender and make my morning shake.
