Tonight a very dear friend of mine caught her husband with another woman.
She had suspected the low down, swine, of this for sometime but was unable to afford a private investigator so she has done a little investigating on her own.....She borrowed a car from a *cough* dear friend and followed him when he left work. He was suppose to be in a "very important meeting" Well he was, she followed him to a house where she parked down the street and watched him knock on the door...She gets out of her car, goes to the door and when she knocks the door was not shut properly, so she walked in , yes was everyone surprised. Now the first thing that "hubby" said was but "its not what it looks like". Now what the hay is that suppose to mean? This is the fourth person I know that has been in this situation and the man always replys with either the "not what it looks like" or some dumb statement instead of just saying, "Ah, yes you caught me" Why can't they ever just admit it when they have been caught with their pants down? They have 3 children and she told him to leave for tonight and they would discuss it when the children are in school. Needless to say she is in shock right now. ![]()

That sucks. Does she have a job, or does she rely on him for their family's source of income? She could divorce him, but she'd have to consider her children too, I think.

I think at some point he has been abusive to her because of some of the things she said tonight....I feel so sorry for her.

because its not what it looks like is a way to make the woman doubt what she saw and allows her to cope with it by denieing it herself, if he said yep banging my secretery she would have to face the cold hard truth right away

I'm never going to understand the answer to this one, like you said then what does it suppose to look like? What kind of answer is this anyway? His pants were down, and he is acting like he is there innocently.....That is really an insult to anyone's intelligence to lie like that.....
