How Long Will You Last?
Seriously folks, If you lose your job and your unemployment runs out and there are no jobs what so ever out there, how long could you last before you have to sleep on the street?
If you own your home and all the banks fail, who would kick you out of your home? What would you eat? Now most of us believe the government would step in, but if no one made any money, no taxes would be paid. How long would police and fire men work without a check? If China did not buy our bonds and no taxes where collected, where would the government get the means to help us? Would we all be like Hurricane Katrina victims waiting on a government that never arrived? What do you think?

Not long I suspect. We're too interdependent.
If there were a complete breakdown in all social order, I suppose that my family would retreat to the farm and raise all of our own food. All we need is water, and I think that we have plenty of that stored up. That would be about 35 people or so spread out over three farms. Plenty of resources for everyone, provided the water lasted. And we are sufficiently armed.

Come to think of it, we can make our own guns and whiskey, grow our own food, see to own own medical care... all without Wall Street.
 Seems like you city slickers need Obama. I'm voting for him for your sakes.

I live in a nursing home.......Well sort of my daughter is a nurse....
 Seriously I could make it for a while that is some comfort to me.

Right now I live with my mom and two sisters, and none of us has a paying job. We'll just see what happens......

If no one..had a job?..Their would be no "big government" I wouldnt think..They would all be in the same boat as everyone else..
I would imagine we would have stake our claim on our property ..and defend it.. I would hope people woudl realize we have to "come together" for the benefit and survival of our children and granchildren... Maybe their would evetnually exist 'clans"..or "tribes' if you will...And there would be a social order set up within each of these mini society's.. I think we would all want to survive..we would have to rely on "trading"..trading labor ..food.. And then witin a week we would be invaded by some other country and made their slaves or be exterminated I suppose now that Im thinking about it... Love Dallas
