If energy stays cheap it may never happen,so keep working babe & trying to make a dent in the credit cards,be the difference & start saving(I feel like a million year old saying this )

What is unfair is your target being pushed up.My lifelong friend(I am partying with him & his family tonight,known him since we were 5) has always been in retail,I'll find out what he is saying to it.He is one of the smartest guys I know.

I talked to a Kid's parent at Ross's soccer match this morning,he was down in London for a management conference in a bigger store on Wednesday(before the shambles on Thursday & Friday).

They had originally been given sales target +5% on their regular target,after discussion the top management decided they would be happy if they can remain on par with last years figures.

Try not to stress too much cyberbabe,it stops you performing to your peak,tires you out wears you down... A seriously cute & intelligent Wiccan babe would be a great asset to any company/location,I may even canoe down the river st.John to visit this fabulous store & lovely resturaunt to see the friendly cheerful staff.

As for politics,I believe that they are all crooked,which is true.Every 4 years you should get the whole crooked bunch chucked out for a new bunch of crooks to take over,which prevents the last 4 years of corruption becoming too deep rooted.

Big business dosen't think this way,they like *stability*,so as they can work easily with the crooks they have already corrupted.

Any way the election goes,you will be a winner!

Just no-one like uncertainty like the run up,the banks getting their act together is not helping & crooked accountants are muddying the waters too.

All shall come out in the wash & you have never starved a winter yet.People will always have to eat & buy stuff,why not from you.You cheer me up!

Faith in politicians is difficult for me which I can explain,Gordon Brown maybe pull something out of the bag,I hope?

I'll try & dig out a really cool,common sense *monetary policy* you might like,it works for me.

The politics right now is textbook smoke & mirrors,give a doomsday scenario so as the people get scared then accept blindly a less horrible alternative,which would have been unthinkable unless the horrible doomsday scenario was there in the first place.

As for your own situ,ask your manager where he bases the new target figures on.

He will never tell you,or may fob you off with some things.
Try him anyway........what do you think your sales target is based on?

Keep this up your sleeve but your target figure is one they have provided to the banks in order to secure a certain level of borrowing.....This is their problem,you just keep doing your best & keep stuff up your sleeve for delivering a broadside to someone who tries to push you too far,then you have the confidence to act as one who knows and are thus self empowered.....if that makes sense.

I have never used a union,just always argued for all that I am worth....



He gave me all sorts of retail tips,he is building up a Scottish network having been headhunted & the same rules apply as they did when he started selling stuff as they do today,as they always will do in one form or another.
