Here's another cute ongoing and recurring story at our house:

Steve usually is asking me how else he can help around the house, so I'll give him a "honey-do" list. He'll go down the list and say that he can't do this or that or this or that, but he'll go grocery shopping!

What follows is him going to the store, with a list in hand of what I want for our kitchen (which is usually bulk baking items, free-range meats, heavy whipping cream, etc.), and come back in a flash with hot dogs, beef sausage, hot wings, Zingers, Hostess cupcakes, 10,000 boxes of Kraft macaroni and cheese, more hot dogs, tabasco sauce, maybe a gallon of milk, even more hot dogs, and a curious lack of hot dog buns.

He'll say to me, "Look what I got, dumplin'! And I spent less than you do at the store even when you use coupons!"

He's usually so excited that I don't want to damper his enthusiasm. So, I'll try to fashion our meals around a whole bunch of hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. But the funniest thing is not what *I* say about his choices at the store, but what *he* says about it......

Not more than two days will pass after he goes shopping when he opens the door to the fridge and yells out, "There isn't **** to eat in this house!!!!"

I love Kraft cheesy Pasta.....yum yum,ridiculous claim about *one pac feeds 4* or something.Home made cheese sauce lacks the chemicals & e numbers.

I'm getting a real hard time in the house right now,not as tough as the boys...

Baby was 3 weeks old last Monday..........just take time.......
