Some days, being married can be a pain. I am not interested in politics, but John (my hub) is. Worse, he is a conservative- he talks and talks nonstop about politics, politicians, and all. I used to be Democrat and now I am non-party affiliated. Political talk does not interest me, I can't join in it since I know nothing about the politicians he talks about. It is so annoying.
Thanks. Finally a thread where I can vent that.

I'll put in the FLATTERING husband story...
I use to like taking LONG baths, and then i liked it if my husband would come and sit with me, and chat. He started to fear bath time. LOL. Every now and then...when he use to take to long...id say...sweetie...are you going to came and sit with me? When I realised he didnt like it too much...perhaps because i would take so long to finish bathing...i stopped calling for him. He started to wonder why i didnt call anymore and he pitched up by himself. That was cool! Eventually it became a habit. Of course when he took a bath id pitch up as well, stick my feet in the bath and take over. He didnt like that either. But then...i developed the habit to scrub his back. Then it was OK again.
