[MARRIED PEOPLE] When did you get married?
What month were you married in? Why did you choose that particular month? Was it because you like the colors that seasons? Or was it something that was special between you and your spouse?
December 28, 2004 for us! We chose December because we wanted to get married before the winter semester of school started back up again and it was just a good time for us, and our family.

April 26, 2003.
We chose that date because April 18, 2001 was when we actually had our first official date, and April 18 the next year was when Steve proposed to me. We could only have our wedding on a Saturday due to the kind of arrangements we wanted, and the only way to keep up with the trend we were setting was to have the wedding on April 19th, which is also the anniversary date of the Oklahoma City bombing. So because we were uncomfortable with the idea of getting married on such a date, we decided to set our wedding date a week later. Peace, Mystic

We chose July 20, 1996. We wanted an outdoor wedding and July seemed best, not too warm not too cool. We had a near hurricane the day before but it cleared up beautifully for our day.

I got married at the end of July. We wanted to get married in the summer, 15th century Orthodox churches being a little cool in winter, and I couldn't get away from work in June. I needed three weeks in the country prior to the wedding to sort out the formalities and if we'd left it much later then we'd have been into the Dormition Fast (in August) when you simply can't get married in the Church. Beginning of August would have been doable, but as that's when my parents got married and that wouldn't have been a good omen, I decided the end of July was better.
