Red face Don't forget.....
As some things have happened this evening, I'm reminded of family and friends. I'm also reminded of the importance of these things. We all get caught up in our own lives and the happenings around us, and we forget those that were around us even though they are still there.

One of my friends wives just died. I hadn't talked to him in a month or so. I texted messaged him to let him know I knew and that he could call me. When they had problems once, he stayed with me for a bit.... Funny how we lose track of others over time.

Ymir made a post tonight and I remembered how long it had been since we spoke or were in the same thread here. Lunamoth posted and the same feeling came back again. I read and replied to a post earlier about how Michel had been off for a bit, and I hadn't even noticed he was! Shame on me!

I thought I'd just start this to send a quick "hello" to those that we haven't spoken to in a too long.... we shouldn't forget our friends and family afterall.....

I saw Booko was online just now: Hello, it has been too long since I said how great you are and how much I enjoy just seeing your name here.

I saw evearael was online just now: Hello, I hope all has been going well as we haven't bumped into each other in ages! I miss seeing you in threads I post in.

I saw Buttercup was online just now: Hello again! Ha ha ha, we'll bump into each other again I know!

I saw Maize was online just now: You still do a great job around here, like the others. If nothing else, we'll bump into each other again in 4 years when ITALY wins the world cup again!

And "HELLO" to all the others I haven't bumped into in ages around here. I hope you are all well as you are my friends and family!!!!

What a sweet and thoughtful post, Comet. And you're right of course about your assessment of people in our lives, even people we know online. We DO share time together and I enjoy it very much.

I've posted in a few other threads, but:

All is well. I quit my last job and am working for Cardinal Health now. I package and deliver the radio-active stuff to hospitals and cancer care centers. I love it!!!! I am out of physical therapy and am doing well. I still have to work out at the gym 3 times a week to recover fully, but I expect to be back to normal by the new year.

Feel free to say "hello" to an old friend here as well...

That is a nice post Comet. I'm sad to hear about your friend's wife. The good thing about true friends though is that even if some time elapses between visits or much contact, you can always pick right up where you left off. Roger and I have moved a lot over the years of our marriage and we've made good friends every where we have lived...and it's always so sad to leave. We try to stay in touch, but even if the only thing we manage is to exchange Christmas cards, if I needed help in any way there is not one of them I would hesitate to call, and I hope they also feel that they could call me.

So, thanks for sending out the warm vibes tonight!
