How many kids do you want (or have, if you are done), and why? What factors influence your decision?

Well at the moment I would say that I never want kids, but I guess that could change. But I would adopt.

None. Same reason as my learned friend above me (Standing_Alone, she was when i posted it anyway!). They annoy me a lot, and would tie me down. Also, I don't want to do it alone, and i don't think I will ever be close enough to a guy to want to raise a kid with him. It may change as I mature, but hopefully not.

Am I the only one here that wants a bunch of kids? I want five or six. I prefer at least one boy and at least one girl, after that I'm not too picky. We've already been blessed with a baby girl. Heart problems, best rest and colic haven't disuaded me from wanting more.
I feel that children are a blessing, as does my husband. I adore chaos and come from a big extended family, so I'm positive I can handle it.

No, I would also love a bunch of kids. I voted 7 or more, just because I want around 6 but no more then 8. So inbetween. I love children, they are my life, literally. I'm in school to become a preschool teacher, I voulunteer weekly at a Head Start preschool, my old major was elementary education and I work with children at Church. I've always loved children. I believe they are God's gift to us. They are so wonderful and innocent.
I love children. At the current time, we are trying to start a family, but it isn't working.  If I can't have my own, I'm adopting, from within the US, probably disabled and other children. I love all children. I can't wait to be a mum when the time comes!
