Too much of anything isn't good for you. The best fish - the ones with the highest levels of omega 3 - are also the longest lived and the higher up the food chain...and as a consequence riddled with mercury. Eat a lot of that and it wont do you any good either. There's negative aspects of every food, and frankly a lot of problems would be avoided by something as simple as a balanced diet.

I love steak so I'm gonna continue to eat it no matter what they say...as with anything it comes down to excess...I've learned a lot about portion control and you should never have any meat larger in size than a pack of playing cards...balance it with good choices of vegies and fruit and good fats and you will do ok. I think it all has to do with eating the wrong things together...did you knwo you shouldn't eat fruits and vegetables at the same time? I heard that some time ago don't remember where now but it causes intestinal upsets quicker than anything except food poisoning. Just FOOD for thought...hehe
