wow C-1....did those flames hurt really bad in that spot? I've heard that the fleshier places hurt less but I can't imagine they would hurt less there....Very nice tats however. Can't wait to see your new full back done as well! What is the pic on your left arm?

It did hurt there, Buttercup, mainly along the ribs and where the flames leap up into my armpit, but it wasn't nearly the worst of them. The place where I have my nautical star, right on my sternum between my boobs, that hurt worse than the flames, but even more so, the two on the back of my arms were the worst. They took about 7 hours between them and because the lines are so thin, they had to be gone over again and again and again.

The one on my left arm is Jack Skellington and the one on my right is Sally. Both from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

My back will take a while to do, since it's going to be so big. It'll have to be done in sessions. I'd say.. a good 50 hours all together, maybe more. I'll be sure to post a pic once it's done, but who knows when that'll be, lol.

Danisty, your's it gorgeous. I'm planning on turning both of my arms into sleeves as well.. eventually.

I can't wiat to get my first tatt, and my artist, who is a good friend of my brothers, can't wait to put one on me.

One tatt I'm going to get is a full moon with a wolfs face howling. Another will be a type of pentagram, with a full moon as the circle, flames for the fire part, vines and leaves for the earth, and so on. Just cant get a good picture for the water part of the star. Another tatt I'm going to get is the Disturbed face logo, with the phrase "Down With The Sickness" around it. That song itself played a very important part in me finally breaking from Christianity, and following a path I am drawn to.

I wish I had a picture of my tattoo to post. It's on my upper right arm, it's an arm band, it's standard notation (you know, like sheet music) for the cello, the first few measures of Beethoven's 7th Symphony 2nd movement. I can't wait to get my next tattoo, which will cover most of my upper left arm. I don't feel like describing it because it's going to be using nature as a metaphor, it's really personal to my own life, and I'd feel stupid explaining it.

I don't think I know anybody with a digital camera and I don't have a scanner to scan a regular pic. But if I find away to get a picture taken and posted up, I will.
