there is no way that the ark could ever float.
And don't forget about the poop.

i assumed noah and his 5(?) sons were working 24/7 to shovel that over the sides. given the amount produced by some animals they would run out of space in like 5 mins lol

creation myths say a lot of things, there's no reason to assume that any of it is true. And today we have a much better explanation for our origins. Not to mention that creation stories were just common in those days.

death is life though, for something to live something must die. to eat either plants or animals must die. so saying genesis is better because it says life comes first is useless as an argument.

why the nostril? why not mouth to mouth, seems to make more sense to me

I'm not asking you to prove or disprove anything, where on earth did you get that? Please try to focus. You agree that new species arise by evolutionary process. You agree that new species come from them, and others from them, till we get new genii. (You agreed to that early in the thread.) But, you say, at some arbitrary point, which you cannot identify, this process hits a wall, and stops, no more change is possible. Why? What stops it? On what do you base that?

About how many "kinds" did Noah take on the ark?

Let's do some science. You have a hypothesis, which is that Noah took two lizards on a boat 4000 years ago and the 5000 known species (and probably as many unknown species) of lizard evolved from them over the last 4000 years. Now we can use the hypothesis to make a prediction. It predicts that we will continually see new lizard species coming into existence at a rate of at last one per year. Let's look and see whether the hypothesis is correct. Is this what scientists see? For example, in the last 20 years, have 20 new species of lizard come into existence?

So how many lizards did Noah take? Two, or ten thousand? I'd also appreciate the book and relevant verse so I can double check.

If he took two, why don't we see a brand new species of lizard every year? If he took ten thousand, how big was this boat of his, and how did he manage to get a pair from every corner of the world - some of which the writers of the Bible didn't even know existed?

What else do you want me to give up out of the Bible besides the creation story? How about Enoch not dieing but being taken up by God? How about Jesus' virgin birth? How about Jesus being raised from the dead by God and being seen by 5,000 after that and ascending in front of the disciples into heaven? How about when a donkey talked? How about when angels came to Lot and then God destroyed Soddom and Gommorah with fire and brimstone from heaven? How about the parting of the red sea?

Let me know so I will know how much of the Bible to leave in place.

The process that lizards produce lizards as you described it does not stop, I never said it does.
