The Debate - My View (ritual, Darwin, Moses, Torah)

My first post:

I just wanted to share my opinions on this debate. It's an except taken from a post I made in a non-religious forum when this debate inevitable reared its head.

And prior to that, before the evolution of life, there were the other incidents believed to have occured by experts - the creation of mountains from the sea by lithographers, the cooling of the planet creating the clouds alluded to in the creation story, and, by scientists, the proposed - and somewhat ridiculed at times - Big Bang Theory. From nothing, there came light. Fiat lux!

Ergo I think it is a pointless debate as one is the truth while the other is the truth wrapped up in allegory. Yes, I do believe in God but I don't believe He is as sentient as we would believe. In fact, I don't think he is sentient - as per the definition of sentient in this dimension.

I believe in the BiG Bang theory sort of.

God was the entity that created the compounds and gases.

God created the forces and rules for the explosion to occur.

God creates man in his image.

Angels materialized in human form.

God is described to have a hand that he uses to cover Moses with when God lets Moses see God, sort of.

Evolution theory.

I once saw a National Geographic special that showed dolphins and sharks in the wild. They have a video of a dolphin having sex with a shark. Unbelievable is what I still think of it but... what will the offspring be? Is that evolution or mutation?

Noah's Ark.

Animals must have mutated alot since that time since he couldn't have possibly put two of everything into one vessel for the future.

If evolution is the answer, then why are there still monkies?
