Me too, that's what the first people to find them called them, before they knew they were a different species. They thought they were just small Chimps. In truth the size difference is nothing really.

I just cruised into the site (I've been gone for quite a while), and this was the first thread that I came across.
The original question is either a poor attempt to stir the pot, regarding evolution, or it is a cry for guidance on what the term "evolution" means. Hard for me to tell which, since I've been gone so long ...
