Thanks. But I think an animal is any living creature that moves of its own violation and is multicellular. I think an unknown power have interfered with human evolution, at the risk of sounding absurd. |

People still report talking to God, and having their cancer healed through prayer or faith healers...

We shouldn't always doubt them. We should doubt them when there is evidence to the contrary. Have you ever seen the movie "The Man in the Moon"?

Well, it's not the best movie ever, but I can't help thinking of a certain part in it. It's based on Andy Kaufman's life, and so contains some inaccuracies, but this certain part I'm sure happens in reality, even if not under the circumstances of the film. The main character goes to a faith healer in Tibet(?) or possibly a different Asian country, to have a tumor removed. While standing in line, he notices the healer who seems to be reaching into the people's stomachs with his bare hands and removing tumors is pulling a trick by already having the "tumors" in his hand.

Tau the pacific northwest is a heavily traveled, heavily developed and heavily forested region. It isn't pristine and untouched by humans by any means.
Bigfoot has been hunted by people for over a century now, with high tec gear like thermal imaging that can spot a deer or black bear in thick woodland from several hundreds of feet in the air. Its never been found. Not a single one. Film footage is easily faked as are footprints. Hair samples have come back as bear or deer or synthetic fiber. Scat has also been found to be bear. I'm sorry but Bigfoot is a modern myth. I will stand by that until they drag a carcass out of the woods. Neanderthals are known mostly from Europe but also the middle east, often from places that are little used by modern people. Cave systems most often. The point is, people want to find Neanderthal remains and they look for them... and find them. People look for Bigfoot and... don't find them. (and to be scientifically accurate Animals are multicellular eukaryotes. Most animals don't move much if ever in their lives. Corals, Sponges and so on.) wa:do
