I don't think this really proves anything. Anything is possible, but I'd say the existence of a creature like this is about as likely as me being black.

I didnt want to go into this but due to the light sarcasm and tedious point scoring I thought I might just make the point that no one actually can say for sure whether Yeti/Bigfoot exists or not, so treating my original post as hypothetical is philosophically sound...but whatever...I hope some other posters post with more interesting posts.

I salute you in the traditional manner....I am not a Bigfoot fan or anything I just despise scoffers and other nay saying know it all nots.

It proves that a big, fat, stupid cow can elude an entire town's population of human beings for 30 years, leaving only blurry photos and tall hunting tales in its wake.

If a freaking cow can do it in a suburban area, then an ape can do it in the middle of an expansive woodland wouldn't you say?

No, I wouldn't say. We know cows exist. This was just a case of one existing in an odd place. For a sasquatch to exist, it would have to have been around for an extremely long time, as in hundreds or thousands of years. That means there must be more than one of them, in fact more than several of them. I find it next to impossible that such a thing has occurred without any hard evidence of them.

I think I side with mball on this one. Not particularly on the point of the cow being very different (it is not) but for all we can say, aliens and witches and elves are hiding out in those forests. Speculating is not an attractive prospect.

Surely the first nations people would have some bits of them around, we have bits of everything else.
There aren't even any fossils of apes in the Americas.

You will notice the 'mystery cow' only remained a mystery for a short time... it was found. We have never found a single dead bigfoot. Not in all the centuries of human habitation.

If the point is that an animal eluded a bunch of people in a small town area for a few decades to the point that they all thought it was just a myth, then I get it. I just disagree. I think in the case of a sasquatch, there is much more to it. If you had brought up the idea of that "ghost cow" before it was discovered to be a real cow, I would have probably said that it's possible it's just a cow that no one's discovered yet. I would have been surprised when it turned out to be that exact thing, but no more surprised than I'd be to get a royal flush in a game of poker.
