It does, yes, but if hadn't put "us" before aliens, you'd be totally right. Do you believe humans are not native to planet Earth? Or that some are, some aren't?

Because retroviruses splice themselves into our genomes, and we are afflicted by different retroviruses than other animals.

Yes, but the fact that no other animal has this coding makes this a unique situation, it is puzzling to scientists in this particular case, the coding in question is also unusual in other respects...Il do some data mining give us a few mins.

All animals will have coding and retroviruses unique to their species.

My face red, i can't seem to locate any related sources at all to show you Halycon as sadly i have forgotten the name of the intron group in particular, this will bug me now as I wanted to know if there had been any developments.

Halcyon of course coding will be unique per species....this is not a retroviral coding...it is not like any kind of virus...yet it has arrived in the human genome ONLY, no other species, as if it was a retro virus, it is much more like bacterial RNA as I said earlier..how would it be puzzling if we knew it was a retro virus...?
