Big Lie #1 Scientists hate Christians....

Fired for believing in god? If this is true then surely hundreds of other scientist would be looking at the ax? Some of the most famous advocates for evolution are outspoken on their religious beliefs... but you never hear Expelled even hint at their existence.

Dr. Ken Miller is a Roman Catholic Biologist and writer of "Finding Darwin's God: A Scientist's Search for Common Ground Between God and Evolution"
As a famous advocate and key witness in both the Dover and the Georgia sticker trial (as well as several debates in Ohio and other states) you might think you couldn't do a movie on the evolution/creation debate without mentioning his name.... However the producer has stated that he doesn't feel that Miller is a genuine Catholic. Fun comment from a non-Catholic... Mathis basically admits that Christians who believe in evolution simply aren't Christians and therefore don't belong in his movie.

Dr. Richard Colling was banned from teaching in a Olivet University for publishing a book on how science and religion can co-exist. "Random Designer: Created From Chaos To Connect With Creator"

Dr. Francis Collins is the director of the Human Genome Project and both a Christian and a believer in Evolution. If talking about God got one fired from working as a scientists this guy would would have gotten the boot long ago.
Instead he is a vocal advocate of both science and religion.

"I am unaware of any irreconcilable conflict between scientific knowledge about evolution and the idea of a creator God; why couldn't God have used the mechanism of evolution to create?...In my field, biology, because of the creationists the standard assumption is that anyone who has faith has gone soft in the head. When scientists like me admit they are believers, the reaction from colleagues is 'How did this guy get tenure?'"

Gosh I wonder why they deny his existence?

Dr. Denis O. Lamoureux is a former young earth creationist who now lectures against the 'either/or' position on evolution/religion.

Christine Cormer was forced to resign her position as Director of Science in the Texas Education Agency for mentioning, in a personal e-mail, a talk being given on the pro-evolution side of the debate. The TEA board is strongly pro-Creationist and used the cover of 'neutrality' to fire the nine year veteran.

Big lie #2 Lots of Christians were fired for believing in God.

Richard Sternburg.... Claims he was fired from his job with the Smithsonian for believing in ID.
Truth... he was never actually employed by the Smithsonian. He had a volunteer position as an editor and was an unpaid Research Associate. He was never fired, in fact he was renewed for the position for another three years but never showed up to work! He maintains his job with the NIH (National Institute of Health) and hasn't suffered anything but a bit of a bruised ego. He never got so much as an official finger wagging from the Smithsonian.

Guillermo Gonzalez... denied tenure for believing in ID?
Hardly... Gonzalez was an all around poor professor. His few graduate students routinely left or failed. He failed to bring in any grant money for research (though he did get some personal money to write his book). He failed to do any professional publishing for nearly a decade (again aside from his pop-sci book, which doesn't count as 'professional'). He didn't get any major telescope time and was poorly regarded as a teacher.
At his university twelve candidates were up for tenure... four were rejected. Hardly making him a spectacular case... and frankly ID isn't a big deal in Astronomy. Astronomers are hardly in the position to question biological institutions.

Caroline Crocker.... fired for mentioning ID?
how about fired for not teaching the class she was assigned to, and then filling it with lies?
She was hired to teach cell biology... instead she filled her lectures with grossly distorted information and outright lies on evolution. One doozy stated that Archaeopteryx was just like an ostrich and that only one fossil was found and it was fake. (how can it be just like an ostrich and be fake at the same time? Seven specimens have been found btw. and its obviously not like modern birds.)
Not only does this issue have nothing to do with the form and function of cells, but it shows incredible ignorance of the subject matter.
Regardless of this, her position was a non-tenure track year by year basis. Quite common in higher education... few of such positions stay for very long.
As for her life being 'ruined'? She now charges thousands of dollars to talk to creationist gatherings.

Robert Marks... Darwinists shut down my website...
Baylor University hosted the website but otherwise had nothing to do with the content. Marks repeatedly claimed that Baylor was tied to his research and implied he had a lab at the university. Baylor asked Marks to remove the false statements and when he refused the website was no longer hosted. It is now on a different server. Marks remains faculty of Baylor and has otherwise had no 'evil Darwinist attempts on his intellectual freedom'. The issue was nothing to do with ID but with improper use of the Baylor's name.

Her work was questioned for its lack of objectivity, but she is still being published by the paper she claims blacklisted her. This one is just silly.

Are 'Evil Darwinists' out to get Christian Scientists? Hardly, its more like a few clever individuals have found a way to exploit their circumstances to gain quick fame.

Let us use our simple minds to work something out. I came from a mum and a dad, you all came from mum's and dads, or simplified a sperm and an egg. Where did your parents come from? and their parents? and their parents. Now use this simple arithmetic formula and go backwards, bear this in mind the worlds population is increasing right; so as we go back in time what do you think would happen, the population would decrease, no. We always come back to two, you came from two and so did your parents and so on and so on. Adam and Eve,the very first humans made in God's own image is where we all came from. Where did we get different kinds of people from? Genesis tells us that God was upset with mankind because they were always fighting and so he changed the colour of their skin and the language that they spoke so that if they could not recognise or understand one another they could not argue. God then sent each tribe off with their own set of rules, these make up all the different religious/belief systems we now have here on earth. It is that simple, why we choose to complicate the issue has always been beyond me???
If you doubt the creation theory then you must not have faith, I tell you it is no longer a matter of faith in God, but it is a matter of FACT that God is real and exists in every fibre of every living thing that is on this earth and in the universe for that matter. OK, so that explains people, but your logic (humanity can be reduced to two original people) applies equally to bunnies. What about bunnies? Were there an Adam and Eve of bunny rabbits, and then God got angry with them and fractured the bunny race into all sorts of different colours and shapes and sizes?

What about bees? Were there an Adam and Eve of bees? Or would it have been just one Eve bee and hundreds of Adam drones and workers? If it was hundreds, which Adam bee was the Eve bee made out of, and which part? Cuz, like, bees have no ribs.
