The only scientists that get the "ax" are the ones that taint the data. Believe me when I tell you most scientists have no interest in any religion whatsoever and they figure if people are busy praying to god they are leaving them alone. Scientists do hate religion that dictate to them what they can do and can not do because in their eyes it is a bunch of fiction being dictated by fascist religious kooks and I tend to agree.
