I would like demonstrable, scientific evidence that an intelligent form capable of guiding evolution, or creating material, or anything of the sort really, exists. The complexity argument does not hold water in my mind due to the ability for mathematical equations to account for such patterns. First of all you use words such as "divine" if God was a "divine computer programmer" as you call him then he simply would not have to work out the kinks. A God that uses evolution to create something is a wasteful, cruel and a stupid God. The God of the bible is not like that. So without looking at any of the evidence wheter it is evolution or creation i can see that you have contradicted yourself already, God can not be "divine" if he uses evolution. You can not believe in both God and evolution, it simply shows a lack of faith!

Are you saying the earth was created by God in six days? Thats what my bible clearly states, but I dont believe it. I believe its written as six days but goes far beyond that and means a very long time, its written like that so that humans can understand it.

As an atheist, i believe there is no god and evolution happens through genetic mutations. for instance a rare butterfly in England was dying out quickly, due to a inherant disease and nature preservers were resigned to losing it all together until there was only a few left and one of males who did not have this gene started reproducing therefore eradicating the bad gene altogether, i know this is only a small thing but shows evolution is still happening and my opinion has nothing to do with 'God'
