God is above all. This world will go away someday. God = natural world is pantheism.

I wouldn't put it like that. I'm just saying ,"Don't throw the baby out with the bath water." Science and theology are very important and one should try to understand both.

Maybe I'm just not understanding you very well - that statement seems pantheistic to me.

For some scientists, science is the study of how God manifests the physical. I'm going on a limb here but I think Sir Isaac Newton had a similar view.

interesting - I've not heard that view before.
So you're saying for example: "science studies the mechanisms through which god created the universe"

Yes, i understand that people who do not believe in God will have a different definition. But for me, God uses science very much so.

My belief is simply that God is the entirety of existence, and that this reality is self-aware and self interactive, and we are merely a part of an ever-expanding, ever-complexifying universe.
So yes, God is still controlling the evolution of life, and is not separate from the process. There is no ultimate goal in mind, and humanity is just another stop on the journey--not the end product I am quite sure. Perhaps once we begin colonizing other planets (in the next millennia, it will be a while with current politics), we will begin to see major, rapid divergences in the human species occur. Perhaps we will genetically alter ourselves to create new species/offshoots of humanity. Who knows, but evolution can never end because biodiversity is probably necessary to guarantee species' survival.

Nobody knows what God is. Nobody can say with any certainty that a power known as God does exist. In the same manner, nobody can deny the power that we call God. It is a great mystery just beginning to be unravelled by modern-day science.
