Well the bible has been changed several times over the centuries so that is one reason to suggest something is false, because it is supposed to be the word of god and unquestionable. where as evolution and science is open to other theories based on the creation of life even the concept of God,and creationism has a very closed mind view and is open to interpretation because it no way relates to world we live in today.

so evolution can't be disproved, but in my opinion creationism certainly can

I'd think it more likely that such a creature would be better evidence in favour of extra-terrestrial life visiting Earth, rather than disproving evolution. Wouldn't you say?

I haven't given it much thought, really. I think it's pretty cool. But apparently it has caused quite a stir among some creationists hoping to disprove evolution.

So what does this mean for evolution and creationism?

It seems to me that the only thing this brings into question is how things are fossilized or preserved.
It doesnt do anything to disprove evolution, if anything it will promote it. As for creationism, it cant really be doing it many favours, but naturally and predictivly, views will twist and turn to maintain their existance along side new discoveries.

We learn from the laws of physics that matter cannot be destroyed, only changed. Is it not plausable than that an all powerful, all knowing being (such as God) could arrange existing matter into a world. If that is plausable to some, could it not be that matter from already existing worlds comprised by God are found in our world as a result of said composition. Logical thought and religious beleifs can exist together. God is the author of all truth, even scientific truth. Is God not the author of logic also? Why would he give us logic if such a thing were useless? This is of course my opinion and may of may not be correct, but I know the Lord can reveal all truth to us through personal revelavtion, "ask and ye shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you". We are human, we do not yet know all things, as God does. To put ourselves on the same plain of thought as an all knowing being is folly. We need to recognize our mortal state and understand their are some things we will not understand in this life, plain and simple.

"Evolution" can't be "disproven" any more than "physics". It's just a terminology for the science of the study of the change of life thru time. Certain theories in evolution could be disproven if the right evidence came forth, but that's just part of the science.

How does this relate to the subject of the thread? Do you know what evolution is?
