When you look at the natural world around you (assuming you live somewhere where the natural world is visible ;-) ) do you see God?
For me, nature is one of the biggest edifiers of my faith.

Yes, the beauty, variety, symmetry, and wonder of this planet and its' flora and fauna are the evidence of God to me. It is amazing to me to find that all life forms, from pine cones, the number of leaves on a branch and even the human form can be defined in mathematical equations. It seems like orchestrated plan to me. I know that mathematics is a human device, but that we can discover and define consistent patterns in nature with mathematics proves God to me.

I believe I have..rather than see Him..I have felt Him..
Looking at the ocean and smelling it and hearing it..Niagra Falls...the sounds that trees make in the wind....the light in a childs eyes..thunder and lightning ...the sunrise and setting.. It may sound corny..but on occasion I have felt a sense of His prescence viewing and listening and experiencing nature. So in that sense I have "seen" Him... But Im wondering if sometimes in nature you can sense an abscencce of God?? Like in a drout??...Or hurricane??? Tornado??..the violent side of nature...damaging hail? Floods??Exteme cold and hot temperatures..(here in Texas their are many days we have warinings not to go outside unless you have too..we have also been put on water restriction under threat of large fines ).....Are those things God? For some of us “God” and “Nature” are synonymous.

Nature isn't a god, it's actually something quite better, the sum total of our existence.
