If God is omnipotent, Can he create a stone that is so heavy he cannot lift it?

If he can, then he is not omnipotent because there is something he cannot do; lift the stone

If he can't, then he is not omnipotent because he cannot make the stone.

God, therefore, cannot be omnipotent.

You guys have probably all heard that before. I heard it today and thought it was really interesting so I rushed to first religious discussion forum I could find on google and wacked it in here!

So, any thoughts?

mind that God was a man, cuz there likening the acts of God to the acts of man,
i hope that made sense to you, God not only has the earth on His finger,

When we HUMANS use the word EVERYTHING and apply it to God we limit Him, eg
Can God Create another God? NO why cuz whenever He creates something that
thing has a beginning, this shows there can never be any god but the One True
God, does this mean God is limited NO.
A Christian(not all of them) would say God became a man cuz He can
do everything,
I also believe God can do everything, but he cant be a man cuz, God can be known
without limiting Him to a physical object or being, also like the Hindus.

God is a witness i mean NO disrespect to anyone, its a very simple
question, but very hard to explain on the computer.
