Heck, it doesn't even need to become a viable theory. We have just entered a new age of faith in which facts and reason are soooo outmoded. Don't you know? It's no longer all about what facts and reason require us in good intellectual conscience to believe... instead, it's all about what we want to believe. Wanting to believe something makes it true.

You know, I don't really fear this crap. My son is twelve years old, and as soon as he is confronted with this mythical bull, he will ask for proof. Of course, since none will be forthcoming, he'll try to figure it out. Sooner or later, he'll ask me why they even teach this as science, and I'll tell him:

I`m sorry..I`ll try to be less worldly from now on.

It`s just that I`m not sure they can stretch the Watchmaker Story out for a whole semester.
