Joe, I agree the moths only demonstrate evolution on a small scale. However, remember evolution into sea monsters took millions of years. Short term relies on a set of key genes, which allow simple changes such as size and colour to change over much shorter periods of time, and this is what we can measure.
Also, I agree that the theory of evolution leaves gaps - how did we get to bacteria in the first place, before they could evolve? Did they just appear? Or did God play a part?

I do beleive God played a major role in the theory of evolution. I think we are too complex for us to come to existence just through mutations.

I do not blow off the whole theory. but I think humans are special because we show more love than any other animal(even though dolfins are the only other animal that has sex for pleasure) and God played a role in our creation.

I also think nessie exists!

Besides the missing transitional species, there are no transitional organs either, e.g. there are no half scale and half feathers, no half leg and half wings (when reptiles are supposed to have turned into birds).
The other problem with transitional species is that if they ever lived, they would quickly have died and not passed on their genes. When evolving into a bird, the leg of a reptile would become a bad leg long before it became a good wing. Natural selection would select the reptile with normal legs, and the one that started to evolve into a bird would be unfit and die. Therefore, evolution would not occur.

Hrm... I never got how someone who can believe DNA shapes an organism into the shape they are in cannot believe we are related to say, dogs... You know, we only share 99% of the same DNA as them... The end result is very different but the building "plan" is almost the same.

What is the test to determine how much love we have? Personally, I think dogs are more loving, but I look dorward to hearing your methodology.

Throughout the ages theistic or divine explanations for any natural phenomenon have become less plausible. Problem is that I don't know of any religious institutions that claim to be in this line of business....

Even if repeatedly wrong, they are wrong on scientific terms, not theological ones.
