KBC -
I'm ready to look at some of the empirical, scientific evidence you have gathered showing that I am not some combination of hydrocarbons (among other compounds). TVOR

kbc-- I'm not saying I won't look at your thread, it's just that it is rather long, and from all the creationist flim-flam going around (evolution contradicts entropy and other such nonsense) I have a hard time believing your post will be a good way to spend all that time slogging through it. I know that if I hadn't just recently taken an advanced chemistry course, I would have been ignorant of the actual nature of entropy/chaos, and those arguments (however ridiculous I know them to be now) would sound convincing. I have not taken an advanced biology course, so I fear my ignorance will not allow me to counter yet another creationist argument founded on scientific illiteracy (and the scientific illiteracy of the intended audience).
So I'll make a deal with you--I'll read your abiogenesis post once I can find a professor of biology around campus who will also read it and give some feedback. P.S.-- Nice ad hominem. ![]()

Back on topic, that is evolution questions btw
![]() Has science ever found empirical evidence of an organism smaller than (the smallest living organism today, I think, correct me if I'm wrong, it was something around 250 proteins at an average of 400 amino acids per protein)? If not, is there any evidence that would suggest that there once were such smaller organisms(if so disregard this question)? Last edited by Mister Emu; 10-04-2004 at 01:45 AM. |
