There is probability in Evolution and as long as there is a 1 in x chance the theory has ground to stand on, maybe it does come down to faith then, maybe that makes it equally as rational as theism.

Long ago, they invented this thing called "scientific method". Certainly, it's not foolproof, but it's by far the best mecahnism (based on its observed practical ability) for determining what's going on in reality.
Evolution exists as the result of scientific method. A phenomena was observed, facts were coilated, a hypthoses was formed which met all available facts, it was scrutinized for fault. Then predictions were made based on this hypothesis. These predictions were tested and found true. The hypothesis became theory. This is a far cry from "faith" or "theism"; which typically fails to meet the burden of a hypothesis, and has never come close to the burden for a theory. |
