This is kind of evolution based. I had an argument with a Christian Fundamentalist and I said that there was no global flood. He said that the only way that there could be a massive amount of oil underground is because of the global flood. I think it's there because the earth is over 3 billion years old and there was plenty of time for oil to accumulate. How do I explain to him that his oil argument is scientifically incorrect?

Unfortunately, that would be good advice to anyone but a Christian fundamentalist. Science is lost on them.

I agree with Skwim. I doubt that a fundamentalist Christian is going to believe anything determined by science that contradicts what such a person has concluded based upon something biblical.
