Okay, I'm apparently isolated from recent trends in American culture.
What is this "emo" thing going on. I find it referenced more often on the forums and for the life of me have no idea what it is other than another bad trend in hairstyles. It also seems to have something to do with fake, ridiculous, over the top and pessimistic empathy for the world I assume.

Nice, I'll definately have to check out this place later. As for the girl, damn, she looks exactly like Giovanna (except Giovanna was stick thin), one of my classmates in an old poetry class. And yes in case you're wondering, her poetry was of the emo variety.
