I think that's because people stop sending once they see you have a region. Also I assume they only go for really new players.

I'm currently in the Great Westlands region, although I confess not to understanding why it makes any difference. Joining the GW was based on the idea of being a small nation joining a small region. I have no reason to be loyal to it nor, as just mentioned, do I really understand if there is a difference between being in one or another.

If anyone has any recommendations or insights, please advise.

Didn't know this was still going. I had a couple countries over 4 years ago... Moosle was my first, and I think Ugopherit was my second, but both died through inactivity.

Same here. I used to frequent a political forum that had created a private region where we all had nations. Didn't last too long though, most seemed to get bored with it fairly quickly.

Maybe I'll give it another go.

I had "New Vinnland" and "Glorious Heathengrad" years ago. It got boring after a while and the community there at the time sucked.
