What are the view points of the Eastern Orthodox christian churches on the occult, ghosts, demons, etc.
Is the view of the EO churches similar to that of the Catholic Church? I just wanted to know, I have a book set in eastern europe that is on the drawingboard. Any help or answer's is greatly appreciated. ![]() |

This probably isn't much help, but Saint Patrick, a widely regarded Saint who (I believe) was said to agree in many things with the Eastern Orthodoxy said that anyone who accused anyone else of being a witch was to be excommunicated - essentially, he considered believing in witchcraft to be a sin, even if you didn't use it.
