Beazley condolences to Carl ROVE (funeral, choices, choice, science)

Its been a bad week for Labor. Scandals in 4 states, the High Court endorsement of WorkChoices as legal. Now Kim Beazley has expressed his condolences to Carl Rove at Belinda Emmetts funeral today (wife of prominent Australian entertainer Rove McManus). This is such a bad look I doubt he will recover his profile prior to the next election. Handing the Libs the election on a plate is just so inept IMO given all that Howard and his cronies have to account for.

I will be voting Green next election. My preferences will be distributed to Labor anyway. But it looks as though we will have to wait another 4 years for a serious Labor contender for PM to emerge.

Labor is a joke. There is so much to capitalise on with the coalition's failures and scandals, but they just can't seem to pull it off. It's sad, but I'm not convinced that it's enough to lose the election. I think people may well be so fed up with the coalition at this point they'll vote for anyone else. There is, however, still time for Labor to screw up even more monumentally between now and the election. I just hope they don't.

It's pretty hilarious that Beazley managed to get that confused. It certainly doesn't do him or the Labor Party any favours, though.

I'll also be voting Green at the next federal election. They're the only mainstream party my conscience will allow me to vote for, minor party or no.
