There's a huge difference between having an affinity for technology and treating it in accordance with Vedic principles.

I will say that as a techhead it is almost the same to many of my kind. Computers are considered "the closest thing to god".

There is a organization called "The Church of Google" stating that "computers are the closest thing to god man will find". I do not believe that computers are the closest thing to god but they are still wonderful creations.

All hail Windows 8 computer with triple core quantum processors and 40 terabyte drive with 66 gig ram and ASRock X79 Extreme9 LGA motherboard. May your technology permit us feeble mortals to experience faster web browsing

I have to agree. I'm a little queezy about using a computer monitor on which the image can wink in and out depending on the whims of the electric company. It's one thing to feel the energy of a murthi or print image, but the kind of energy that would come a from power surge through the 'puter is not my cup of tea.
