Not it my life. I have always taken my families and friends encourgement as a suggestion and no matter how much they say what they say they are basically throwing out ideas to me. Lol, I admire your personality, but unforunately not everyone is so assertive. I think the difference is that pressure is a personal thing. Encouragement turns to pressure if one allows it--when one start pressuring himself to live up to the hopes of others. So alright, there is a difference.

But I still think the term "Peer Pressure" can have both negative AND positive connotations.
