Most of us at some time or another will have seen the reports in the media linking violence in kids and teenagers to films and video games..my belief is that to some extent this is true, immature emotions in youngsters maybe cannot cope with aggressive feelings brought out by such games,is an overexposure in films and games conditioning our kids to believe that violence is normal..
what are your thoughts on this OH just as an aside have a go at this...lets just see how annoyed you get,and this is just for fun.. http://www.hurtwood.demon.co.uk/Fun/copter.swf Be warned this could be addictive |

Too much of it... wears down the persons perceptions without a doubt.
I was a hardcore "Gaymer" for about 8 years staying up 3 or 4 days at a time playing computer games with my mates... ok so that's not healthy, but the difference I noticed between the kid who sits on his own staring at the screen and the social gamers who make it an event and play games together should be obvious. So moral of the story is, get 2 player games and have other people join in... RPG's are different and if you love them go for it. Esp MMORPGs which, although bloody addictive, appear to be a huge thing for people who like to socialise while playing. If you've got kids who game just don't let 'em sit in front of the screen on their own all day. Have someone play with them! It's more fun anyway... computers can't curse or gloat! Oh and any Quakers about? I'm talking QTF ![]()

Pfffttt anything's addictive if you want to escape reality enough. How many hours do we all spend in front of TV or on the Net each day. If that's the only reason we can come up with for limiting gaming we need to limit Television too!
