It would seem that Hamas has overthrown the old guard and taken the reigns of power. The future of any possible peace process is in question and unless they learn to 'play ball', as it were, i see only more violence. I feel that at this moment we should look at a document from the party who now governs the Palestinian Authority.

This does not bode well.
Why do I feel uncomfortable with a buch of gun totting army types, firing weapons into the air?
Strangely, it would not occur to me to want them to lead me and be my government. I think what we have seen happen here is more a slap in the face against Fatah, rather than a decided approval by the Palestinian people for Hamas.
