I don't think his town in Florida allows teaching ID in science either, and it's Dover for some reason that god will struck down. And most Americans still idolize him and look down on freethinkers.

I know that you're just trying to get certain people's goats here, but I still must object for the sake of my moderate Republican friends. Robertson is best termed a social Conservative, and an extreme one at that. I know plenty of Republicans who are rational, tolerant, and caring.

There's talk going around the internet that perhaps Pat Robertson needs a hearing aide. Most of us are pretty sure that the recent spat of tornadoes in the midwest are a sign of God's displeasure with the "blue" states for re-electing Bush. You'd think that Pat would have heard that.

I asked a friend of my mom's who is republican what does he think about Par Robertson's comments to assassinate Chavez and that god might destroy Dover, and he said he doesn't even know who Pat Robertson is. After about half an hour of conversation I got out of him that he does in fact know who he is, and judging by some of his comments he sounds like a good guy. I asked him to only give me an answer to what he thinks about those specific comments, he said he didn't hear them. I asked him to imagine if he did, and would he still think he's a good and wise guy, are those wise comments. He got ****** and yelled at me that I have to get of this "atheist bull****", and hung up on me (we talked on Skype).

How much does it take to make sense to people who believe in a talking snake? And if he only had a million or so followers he wouldn't have a show on CBN and be a multi millionaire with four helicopters and a mansion in Florida.
