what is your take on todays global issues? wars, over-population, environmental issues, golblization. are we doomed or is it just hype?

I don't know if there are more wars....maybe just more media coverage so we're more aware of all of them. Definitely over population....worse in some areas more than others. What we're doing to the environment is an absolute crime...but then we're not doing such a hot job in treating other *people* in a compassionate caring manner so it doesn't surprise me that the world is not faring any better. Although being mean to your neighbors is not quite as devastating as burning your own house down.
