It seems to me that trying to take such a ship needlessly endangers the lives of Israeli soldiers. If the IHH send another flotilla, as they say they will, the Israelis should just sink the ships.

The problem as presented in this BBC video, is that the IHH has forced their agenda for a violent confrontation on the rest of the passangers. I hope that normal activists will now distance themselves from elements such as the IHH who can exploit legitimate aid and activists for a political statement at the cost of human lives.

Frankly, I don't have a lot of sympathy for the rest of the passengers. Anytime you go to occupied Northern Cyprus to get on a ship and go run a blockade, the little voice in your head ought to tell you that maybe it's not such a good idea.

Even the guy who saved a soldier's life got one of those. They could have also bothered to mention that collective punishment is illegal under international law.

The Beeb has a real blind spot when it comes to Israel. It's as if they can do no wrong. Or perhaps agreeing to propagandize on behalf of the Israeli government was a condition of being granted such exclusive access.

This post is amazing to me as in how drastically different, people would claim where the bias lays. I've very seldom heared people claiming the BBC is Pro-Israeli.
What I'm also puzzled about is why people would seek to defend the IHH, who has obviously hijacked whatever legitimate aid many of the activists on the flotilla hoped to promote. I would love to hear exactly what is the bias against the IHH.

What makes me laugh is people backing Palestine without realy knowing much aout it,in Britain we regulary search Ships Buses Lorries etc especially those on route to Ireland for example and its not a problem yet when Israel searches a Shipits somehow different,i mean how dare they search for weapons thatare aimed at them.
