The Baby Contest... 35,000 points!
It's that time again! I've got too many points and my second
 girl on the way. Guess my little girl's birth weight for your share of 10,000 points! Guesses must be within one ounce of the actual birth weight. Clues: ~ My firstborn was 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was born on her due date... ~ However, it was a miracle she made it to term because I was put on bed rest at 30 weeks for being 50% effaced. I was having Braxton Hicks contractions constantly by that point (3 to 6 per hour) which continued for the last ten weeks. ~ I am in my 30th week now and am only having 6 to 12 contractions a day but I've been having cervical pain and pressure. To my knowledge, I've not yet begun to efface and dilate. The ob/gyn restricted my activity from early in the pregnancy to avoid the same scare as last time. Guess my little girl's birth length for your share of 10,000 points! Guesses must be within one inch of the actual birth length. Clues: ~ My firstborn was 19 3/4 inches. Guess the length of my labor for your share of 5,000 points! Guesses must be within one hour of the actual duration. Clues: ~ My labor with my firstborn was roughly 3 hours and 15 minutes. (In L&D by noon, delivered at 2:42.) ~ I was five centimeters dilated by the time I went into labor. Guess whether or not I'll make it to the hospital in time for the delivery for your share of 5,000 points! If you don't think I'll make it to the hospital in time, I would love to hear where you think I'll deliver.  Clues: ~ I've often heard the second child arrives in half the time of the first, so this is a big concern for me. Guess my baby's birthday for your share of 5,000 points! Clues: ~ My original due date was May 21st, but the doctor has since adjusted it to May 23rd. ~ My firstborn arrived on her due date. ~ UPDATE - My due date is back to the 21st  All shares will be divided equally among the winners. Ok....here we go
I guess 8lb 4oz, 20 in long, May 18, and you will make it to the hospital. oops forgot length of delivery....2 hours 27 min.
