Update! Six more weeks until my due date and I am 1 & 1/2 cm gone... which is in the safe range. My doctor said if I go any time after 35 weeks he won't try to stop it, but in the mean time I need to keep the contractions to the minimum. It interesting because I haven't had nearly as many contractions as last time, but they are much stronger and I'm still about as far along as I was with my firstborn at this point. I'm still on partial bed rest until it is safe to deliver. The pelvic issue is under control with the restricted activity. More hugs for you all! Take care!

Update! The danger of premature delivery has passed. The doctor won't try to stop labor anytime from today on... so I'm off of partial bed rest. It is so good to be able to work through contractions rather than having to lay down. My only constraints are pelvic pain and fatigue.
The baby has dropped and I have lots of pain in my sacrum whenever she is head down. I've also had quite a bit of cervical pain. He agrees the labor will probably be swift, so I'm to go straight on to the hospital after I call. Now I just need to preregister at the hospital. And my due date is back to the 21st. ![]() Last edited by evearael; 04-24-2007 at 06:59 PM. Reason: One more thing... |

As it gets closer, have towels close at hand, especially already the car. (Eibhlin's labor...I almost had her in the bathroom at home, but we managed to get to the hospital...just. It was all I could do to toss a robe and slippers on. Fortunately, the robe was ankle length. )Quote:
Length: 19.6 in. This one may come so fast you have her before you get to the hopsital. What's the name of the nearest freeway or large road on your route? ![]() Be ready to pant like mad if you feel like you need to push and you're not at the hospital yet. You know I'm still holding out for the 19th. That's my son's b-day. He'll be 18 on that day. Do we get a bonus for guessing time of day? I'll take 8pm. |

Update! I'm 3cm gone and the baby has definitely dropped which is the same as last time. I have less than two weeks until my due date and am presently considered full term. I have a laundry list of pregnancy aches and pains, but I am very happy. I am so ready for this baby!
