No, not Dalmatia. There are only a handfull of cities on the Dalmatian coast in which Bosnians, as Muslims, live. (One could argue much of the population of Herceg Novi, Montenegro, is ancestrally Bosnian - since the city was founded by the Bosnian King and populated during his time - but they're all Orthodox Christian, no Muslims.)

You have small populations in Rijeka and Ploce, Croatia - a few thousand each - and then more or less 100-500 in every town on the coast.

Then how about Bratislava?? I know it is a popular German destination.

If not, the only other possibility could be Banja Luka.

They're both inland cities.

Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and I'd be surprised if there is even one Bosniak there. I certainly don't recall seeing any mosques when I was there and it's way north of what was Yugoslavia.

Judging by the other hints Djamila's given, I'm fairly confident that it isn't in the former Yugoslavia, though I still don't know where it is exactly.

You're correct about that.

This is going to be kind of like taking candy from a baby for James, but it won't be an end-all hint for most people in the West so I'll share it anyways...
