Sowing and reaping, cause and effect … they are pretty much the same and I’ve lived with the out-workings of them for seven decades. The only negations of these “laws” are, in my experience, repentance, forgiveness and God’s grace.

God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change; COURAGE to change the things I can; and WISDOM to know the difference. We can control our character though, and that is probably the most important thing there is to control.

Titus 3
3For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; God is a wonderful Potter! He changes our lives! |
