Are You Sure?
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't think their worldview* is "right." So, am I truly alone? How certain are you that your belief system* is the right one?
* For purposes of this poll/ discussion, all forms of non-theism qualify as belief systems.

I am one of the very few on RF that has a penchant for ending my latest diabtribe with, "What would I know?" or "I could be wrong". Although most of us realize that the comments on RF are simply a mix of opinions, it never hurts to admit one is merely broadcasting their esteemed opinion and that they could most certainly be wrong.

I voted "Absolutely sure" - because I have no doubt whatsoever that my faith is not misplaced. Having said that, there are minutiae on which I really am not completely convinced - but they are (to me) unimportant "bits" which do not detract from my faith in God.
Let's face it, had I replied anything else, it would have shown that I don't have that faith that is so important in my relationship with God. And that doesn't imply that I am just sticking to my gns, because I have made my bed and must lie in it. I do know. I hope that doesn't sound arrogant - it feels a bit like it....

I'm just on the "fairly sure" side of the neutral option. In terms of atheism I'm not that sure or even that interested anymore. This may seem odd but as I learn I become both more and less confident in my own understanding of 'the world'.
