I'm not sure really. There are teaching in it that just didn't fit into what felt right to me.

Was sitting in church one Sunday and just thought everyone here is saying things like they are brainwashed,and reading the bible realised it is just basically a guide book to be a good person, and i don't need a book to tell me what is right and wrong we have our parents for that,and also i studied ancient egypt in school and realised alot of the tales in the bible are old egyptian stories and also have seen method that the egyptians used to get people into religion. e.g. bleeding statues, and also another statue which was of some maternal god that had milk come from her breasts.
they did this by using fires and heat, anyway enough of the history lesson.

I did come out of the closet to my mom..... three times, gotta love that selective memory. All she did was ask if I had learned anything in all of those CCD classes she sent me too. Other than that, I haven't said anything. I mean, I don't hide it, I wear my pentacle out in the open, and I don't try to hide my books. But it's my thought that if people want to know, they'll ask and then I'll answer; so far, no one's asked.

When I realized that I did not approve of the God of Abraham's actions as depicted in the bible, I was beyond turned off. I was ****** off. Growing up I just accepted things as it was with no consideration as to if it was right or wrong. While struggling to become a better Christian, my sense of morals became better defined and then I reread the bible. What an eye opener.
